Is this really free? +
Yes. Each visitor gets a small number of free checks per day with no signup and no card. Once the shared daily allowance for this free tool runs out, the page still loads — you'll just be pointed to a free account instead of a result.
Do you store the email address I submit? +
We don't write it to a database, and it's never saved to your browser session. It may be held briefly in a fast in-memory cache so an identical repeat lookup doesn't need a fresh check — that expires automatically. On the rare check that fails at our upstream provider, a masked version of the address may briefly appear in our internal error logs for troubleshooting — never the full address. See our

Does this send an email to the address? +
No message is ever composed or sent, and the address owner is never notified. The check only inspects the address and its domain.
How is this different from the API? +
Same underlying score, a reduced set of fields, and a form instead of a REST call. There is no free JSON endpoint for this tool — every result is rendered on this page only.
