Is this really free? +
Yes. Each visitor gets a small number of free checks per day with no signup and no card. Once the shared daily allowance for this free tool runs out, the page still loads — you'll just be pointed to a free account instead of a result.
Do you store the IP address I submit? +
We don't write it to a database, and it's never saved to your browser session. It may be held briefly in a fast in-memory cache so an identical repeat lookup doesn't need a fresh check — that expires automatically. On the rare check that fails at our upstream provider, the IP address may briefly appear in our internal error logs for troubleshooting. See our

Can I test my own proxy or VPN with this? +
Yes. Connect through the proxy or VPN, then paste its exit IP here (the address a site sees when you visit it). The result shows whether that address is flagged as a proxy, VPN or Tor exit and the fraud score it carries, which is what a signup or checkout screen will see too.
Do you contact the IP's owner? +
No. A lookup never sends any traffic to the address itself — it only checks reputation data about it.
How is this different from the API? +
Same underlying score, a reduced set of fields, and a form instead of a REST call. There is no free JSON endpoint for this tool — every result is rendered on this page only.
What do I get with an account? +
